Triana Willmert: Empowering Personal Growth Through Compassionate Therapy

I’m Triana, a master’s student at Gonzaga University studying Marriage and Family Counseling. I’m passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s ups and downs. Whether you’re navigating relationship conflict, life transitions, personal struggles, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to help you move forward and toward the life you envision.

We’re all shaped by unique, beautiful, and sometimes challenging experiences, relationships, and backgrounds. Delving into these complexities can feel daunting, but it’s also a powerful step toward change. I strive to meet you exactly where you’re at, offering empathy, understanding, empowerment, and authenticity as we navigate your journey together. Building a meaningful, collaborative therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my approach, and I believe this connection can help us achieve your goals.

Outside the counseling office, you’ll find me in the mountains or on the river — running, biking, skiing, or rafting. Inside the counseling office, you’ll find me eager to join you on your journey, wherever it may lead.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Let’s work together to tap into the resilience that’s already within you and move toward the positive change you’re seeking!

Rather than directing your journey, we trust in your natural capacity for growth and healing, believing that when provided with these core conditions, you'll discover meaningful insights and solutions that align with your unique values and needs. This humanistic approach honors your inner wisdom and empowers you to develop greater self-awareness and personal growth at your own pace.

Strength-Based

Strength-Based Therapy focuses on capabilities and resources rather than deficits. This empowering approach identifies and builds upon existing strengths, resilience factors, and positive qualities to help clients overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Emotionally Focused

Emotionally Focused approaches help clients identify, explore, and process emotions to create positive change. These therapeutic methods focus on emotional awareness, expression, and regulation to improve personal well-being and interpersonal relationships.

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy addresses patterns formed in early relationships that affect current relationships. This approach helps individuals understand how early attachment experiences influence emotional regulation, relationship dynamics, and personal development.

Humanistic

Humanistic Therapy emphasizes personal growth, self-actualization, and present moment awareness. This client-centered approach focuses on human potential, encourages self-exploration, and helps clients develop self-acceptance and authentic living.

Family Systems

Family Systems Therapy views family as an emotional unit and addresses patterns within the system. This approach helps families improve communication, resolve conflicts, and create healthier interaction patterns by understanding the interconnected nature of family relationships.

Adlerian Therapy

Adlerian Therapy is a holistic psychological approach developed by Alfred Adler that views individuals as indivisible wholes rather than collections of parts. It focuses on understanding a person's unique lifestyle, social connections, and goals while addressing feelings of inferiority. Through encouragement and fostering social interest, this therapy helps clients develop optimism, meaningful relationships, and a sense of contribution to society, ultimately supporting their journey toward personal fulfillment and positive social cooperation.
